Paper Piecing - Prismatic Star (Queen or Wall size)
Learn the basics of paper piecing with this pattern designed with beginners in mind. The strip piecing process for the Prismatic Star was designed for foundation paper piecing with 2 1/2" strips. Strips are sewn onto foundation paper to complete what we call a ‘Strip Set’. After the strip sets are completed they are cut apart, rearranged and resewn into a diamond star point. Just add a contrasting trim and a background and you have a beautiful quilt! The newly added Queen pattern is the same diamond block, just more of them to make it bigger!

This is a 2 or 3 day workshop spread out over 2 months. Take 2 days for the wall-size quilt and add a 3rd day if you're making the Queen size.
Dates are May 2, June 6, and June 27
May 2 - This first session will be for cutting/organizing and sewing your first paper pieced blocks
June 6 - The 2nd session will be layout, cutting T-templates and assembly
June 27 - The 3rd session is final assembly if needed for the Queen size
